Fixed Installation Series

The EK 1520 is a coaxial mid-high frequency beam control horn speaker system featuring excellent
directivity (45°×60°). Designed for high-quality outdoor distributed sound reinforcement systems, this all-weather speaker features an industrial resin-molded enclosure providing excellent waterproofing, UV resistance, moisture protection, and mold resistance. A dedicated nickel-plated steel frame facilitates suspension and safeguards the enclosure from damage. The EK 1520 is a coaxial, passive, two-way, two-way crossover loudspeaker. The low/midrange section incorporates a 15-inch low-frequency driver loaded into a mid-high frequency beam control horn. The high-frequency section incorporates a 3-inch compression driver mounted in a 45° x 60° constant directivity horn.

As a full-range loudspeaker system, its frequency response is 45 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). The EK 1520 enclosure is constructed from industrial resin material and features dedicated nickel-plated stainless steel mounting brackets around the perimeter. This design fully meets the safety requirements for permanent outdoor installations.
